Manchester police said they arrested a man after he allegedly pointed a rifle at a group of neighbors in a West Side neighborhood. Police were called to the area of West and Douglass streets just after noon Saturday.
A man suffered a collapsed lung after the vehicle he was driving struck a slow-moving plow truck early Saturday on Interstate 89 in Colchester. Herbert Durfee II, 55, of Grand Isle, attempted to pass the truck, which was distributing salt, but he clipped its side plow wing, state police said.
A 47 year old man was shot and killed as he sat in his car outside a Humboldt Park taqueria. Relatives identified the victim as Mauricio Rivera. His wife was inside the restaurant ordering food at the time of the shooting. Restaurant workers told reporters Rivera was a long-time customer of Taqueria Super Burrito in the 15 hundred block of North Western.

A Boaz man has been arrested on domestic violence charges, authorities said. Richard Cody Nix, 26, has been charged with one count of domestic violence by strangulation or suffocation, Investigator Brandi Fuller said.
A man has been arrested and charged after allegedly helping overturn a car in Center City in the aftermath of the Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl win. Around 11 p.m. Sunday night, police say a crowd of people was celebrating the Eagles win on the 1400 block of Walnut Street.
A methamphetamine investigation in northern Minnesota led to the discovery of methamphetamine, heroin and psilocybin mushrooms. The investigation was conducted by the Cloquet Police Department and the Fond du Lac Police Department. As a part of the investigation police obtained a search warrant for a residence on the Fond du Lac Reservation. During the search officers found what they suspected to be approximately 135 grams of methamphetamine, heroin and psilocybin mushrooms. Officers also found and seized six firearms from the home.
Two people were hospitalized after being stabbed at the Newport Centre Mall, according to police. Police confirmed two young men were stabbed at the Jersey City mall. Reports say the stabbing happened in the JC Penney and there may have been a large fight beforehand.
