A man was arrested on suspicion of homicide after a woman’s body was found in a Costa Mesa park Wednesday, police said. The body was found in Talbert Regional Park at at 1299 Victoria Street about 7:10 a.m., according to Costa Mesa Police Department.
Special agents with North Carolina's Alcohol Law Enforcement executed three search warrants and arrested eight people in Winston Salem on February 22nd at locations known to be distributing alcoholic beverages without proper permits and illegal drugs.

James Isiah Brien of Hardin was arraigned in District Court Tuesday on a charge of deliberate homicide and two counts of assault with a weapon. A man who Ithaca Police say was responsible for Monday night’s armed robbery of a pizza delivery driver was arrested Tuesday night after barricading himself in a home on west hill, according to IPD. IPD said late Monday night that a Domino’s Pizza delivery driver was robbed by a man who displayed a small handgun, and the suspect fired into the roadway. Officers had responded at 8:55pm to the incident scene on the 400 block of Elm Street on Ithaca’s west hill.

A Maine man has been arrested for the second time in a year on charges he led police on a chase in a stolen U-Haul truck. Officials say multiple students in the Fort Dodge Community School District were talking about participating in a school shooting. San Francisco police released body-camera footage on Tuesday showing that seven officers unleashed a barrage of gunfire during a Design District shootout with a homicide suspect earlier this month. The footage shows the officers shooting assault weapons and handguns into a parked recreational vehicle at De Haro and Alameda streets on Feb. 17 after Joel Armstrong, 31, allegedly fired two rounds at police from inside the camper.

A teen wanted in connection with a double homicide in Georgia has been arrested in Virginia. The Virginian-Pilot cites a release from the Chesapeake Sheriff's Office that says 18-year-old Kevin Sherod Fowler was arrested Monday when a fugitive task force led by the U.S. Marshals caught Fowler coming out of an associate's home in Chesapeake.
Police had no difficulty locating an arson suspect when the culprit himself flagged down a patrol car late last week. Investigators said 60-year-old Milford Bass told the officer he set a Murray Street house on fire. In addition to charges of arson, Bass faces one count of attempted murder.

A Montana teen has pleaded not guilty to bringing a gun to school while a former teacher denied charges she hid it in his classroom. Prosecutors say the 17-year-old student used the gun in an attempt to take another student's lunch money at Hardin High School on Jan. 26. School officials said they removed him from school but could not locate a gun.
