Escaped inmate Joshua Zimmerman from Mississippi is barricaded inside of a restaurant on Chicago's Near West Side which started Tuesday evening according to the U.S. Marshals Service. Joshua Zimmerman is wanted for murder and armed robbery. Joshua Zimmerman escaped from the DeSoto County Circuit Court Building in Mississippi on June 14 and is barricaded at 2325 West Madison Street, surrounded by the Chicago SWAT team, the U.S. Marshals Service and the FBI is also on scene. Zimmerman is alone in the restaurant, and no innocent civilians are present.
