Stabbing occurred inside a residence on 42xx Welsh Road at approximately 3:30 a.m. A 55-year-old male was stabbed once in the back and was transported to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, where he was placed in stable condition. No scene was held, and no weapons were recovered; however, a person of interest has been taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing with the Northeast Detective Division.
