1 year agoThis is a Fatal shooting at a homeless encampment on 8th St NW off of Rhode Island Ave NW in ShawDC with the victim pronounced dead on the scene. The scene has since been cleared.
Officers had a male matching the description of the suspect at gunpoint near Little Rd. and W. 98th St., then detained without further incident. They said it was a positive ID and the perimeter was clearing around 12:35 a.m
