Male dead after female fatally stabs him following a verbal altercation that became physical in Chicago, Illinois on May 1, 2024. In the 0-100 block of N. Lotus at approximately 10:29 p.m. Wednesday evening, a male and female were in a verbal altercation that became physical in the apartment. The male put both hands around the female’s neck and she then took possession of a knife and stabbed the male on the right side of the neck. The suspect then fled the apartment and was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The female was transported to a local hospital for bruising to the face and body. Police are investigating the incident.
15-year-old boy injured in a shooting in Chicago, Illinois on May 1, 2024. In the 6500 block of S. Racine at approximately 7:06 p.m., Wednesday evening a 15-year-old male victim was in a park and involved in a verbal altercation with an unknown suspect.
