The officer transported the victim to Temple University Hospital, where he was placed in stable condition.

Fatal Crash—600 Godfrey Avenue. PHILADELPHIA – A 29-year-old Black male driver died early Sunday morning after a single-vehicle crash in the Northwest section of the city. At approximately 12:52 am, a green 2005 Mazda 6 traveling eastbound on the 600 block of Godfrey Avenue lost control and veered off the roadway, striking a tree. The driver, 29-year-old Karon Baron Montgomery of Philadelphia, was pronounced at the scene by PFD Medics at 1:05 am.

At approximately 1:33 AM, officers responded to reports of a shooting inside a bar on the 3800 block of Lancaster Avenue.
