28-year-old male victim shot numerous times and killed in Chicago, Illinois on August 17, 2024. Saturday morning, at approximately 12:29 a.m., on the 4500 block of S. Champlain Avenue, a witness said that a 28-year-old male was on the sidewalk when an unknown suspect began shooting in the direction of the victim striking him several times about the body. The suspect proceeded to flee the scene. The victim was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. No suspects are in custody. Numerous shell casings were found on the scene.
Home invasion ends with Three Suspects in Custody in Little Neck, Queens. Around 2a.m, NYPD officers esponded to a home invasion call in the Douglaston section of Queens.
