Shooting occurred at the intersection of North 13th Street and West Lycoming Street on the highway this morning 9/23, at 8:09 AM. A 38-year-old male was shot once in the left side of the head. He was transported to Temple University Hospital by private vehicle and is currently in stable condition. The scene is being held for investigation, with no weapons recovered and no arrests made at this time.

Officers from the 14th District responded to a call regarding a "Hospital Case" at 5900 Stenton Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered a victim on the roadway, suffering from three gunshot wounds to the chest. Medic 33 pronounced the victim deceased at the scene at 11:46 p.m. The victim has since been identified as 16-year-old William Honesty, from the 21xx block of Homer Street.
